WinGate and WayPoints Wilderness Therapy
WinGate & WayPoints Admissions Process
WinGate and WayPoints admissions counselors are here to help the parents of troubled teens young adults navigate the enrollment process.
We are here to help your family through this difficult stage of finding the right program and getting everything ready for placement.
Their experience and expertise will help you feel comfortable with the complete process of entering either the WinGate program (for troubled teens ages 13 to 17) or the Waypoints program (a separate program for young adults 18 to 26+).
Please feel free to call our admissions team any time at 1-800-560-1599.
Once your family has decided upon WinGate or WayPoints, the admissions process begins with the ONLINE APPLICATION.
In order to ensure that each student is an appropriate fit for our programs, and the family is comfortable with our philosophy (approach to treatment), all applications are reviewed by our Admissions, Clinical, and Medical departments.
The admissions counselor will speak with prospective clients and/or their families as soon as possible following this determination to finalize admission plans.
Admissions into WayPoints can happen throughout the week or weekend (additional charges may apply for weekends/holidays). Upon arrival, each student will receive a short physical (including blood work and urinalysis), and then proceed to the field office to get geared up and ready to meet the group.
Ask an admissions counselor for specifics on which airport will best handle your arrival needs.
