We create a positive wilderness experience for struggling teens ages 13 to 18. Professional therapists meet with students out in the field and counsel with parents on the phone each week. Field instructors teach confidence building skills such as crafting leather and carving wood to make backpacks, moccasins, bowls, utensils and other essential primitive wilderness tools. Students learn to build their own fires, cook their own food, and clean up after themselves without being told (which some parents find amazing in and of itself).
