Greg Burnham - LMFT
In his work with adolescent girls and their families, Greg Burnham is particularly gifted in addressing trauma, drug and alcohol dependence, suicidal feelings and behaviors, borderline personality disorder, and attachment disorders. A licensed marriage and family therapist, he combines a sound understanding of systems theory with therapeutic listening skills to open unexpected new possibilities for his clients. Greg has a special talent for working with deeply depressed clients who have lost hope and given up on life.
One of Greg’s greatest joys is helping adolescents move from anguish to peace and healing. "I have found particular success working with individuals who are angry and just want to go to war with the world,” says Greg. “It’s amazing to see their hearts melt when they let their walls down and begin engage more honestly."
Greg enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and three daughters. He also enjoys running marathons, biking, singing, hiking, and just about anything active. Of his outdoor experiences as a volunteer with the Boy Scouts, Greg says, “I find healing in the quiet peace of nature."
